"Sound is not great. It
sounds like talking in a barrel at times, and you hear
yourself in echo at times. We turned of the ringer, yet the
base also rings. We finally found how to turn it off also. The
manual is not clear on some things, so be ready to play around
with it. Overall this is a pretty good unit."
